Happy Friday, everyone!! It's been a while since my last round of Friday Favorites, and these are always some of the most fun posts to write. This past week was my first week at home in a while (because of traveling), so I finally had a chance to try out some new products and get back to normal life. Today I'm sharing some of my favorite beauty, workout and lifestyle products from the week.
First up...
I wore this peplum tee last week at the beach, and it's now been marked down to only $36!! (25% off) It comes in three other colors, including a gorgeous turquoise. Since it's marked down, I ordered a few more! For reference, I'm wearing a size XS - it does run a little big, which is how I'm able to wear it off-the-shoulder as you see in the picture. I personally love the oversized look, but if you want to fit a little more snug, order a size down!
This week I had the chance to try out some beauty products that had come in the mail while I was traveling. I'm OBSESSED with these two new products from Marc Jacobs! The first is this Coconut Face Primer which I love for many reasons - the first being that it makes your skin feel like BUTTER - and it's really moisturizing (but not greasy at all) so your makeup goes on smoothly and flawlessly. The second item is this Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter, which I've been wearing in all my photos lately - it's my new favorite highlighter for summer! You can mix it with your foundation for an all-over luminous glow (perfect if you're at the beach), or just dab a tiny bit onto your fingertips and dab it where you would normally apply highlighter - on the tops of your cheekbones and on your brow bone. A little goes a long way, so even thought this product is a little pricey, it will last forever! I also love the bronze hue (and the fact that it smells like coconuts!) - it's perfect for summer.
Next, I wanted to share some workout gear I've been loving. While I was traveling during the month of May, I didn't work out at all, nor did I eat healthy (pizza, pasta, fried seafood, yikes!). This week I knew vacation was over and it was time to head back to the gym! I'm still going to pure barre classes a couple of times per week, but Chris and I actually joined a gym too so that we can work out together before work!
Anyway, I have been loving these Onzie pants for my pure barre classes - they're so cute because they have mesh cut-outs all on the legs and they're SUPER high-waisted, which feels really comfortable during a workout. I also bought this sports bra - I love wearing it with a low-back tee so that you can see the pretty straps in the back. Whenever I wear it I always get compliments!
Just a heads up - Target has THE cutest planners right now, that are dalmatian printed and palm printed! All of my calendars run out at the end of June, so I headed there this week to pick up a new one from Target. I ended up buying a monthly calendar in the dalmatian print, and a daily/weekly planner in the palm print. I don't know about y'all, but I am just one of those people that HAS to write down stuff in order to not forget it. I plan out all my trips, appointments, blog posts, etc. using my planners.... otherwise I would lose my mind. :)
And how cute is this "Work It" phone case that my blogger friend Stephanie designed?! Every time I look at it I feel empowered, haha!
Last but not least, I thought I'd share some of my new favorite candle scents from Bath & Body Works since their Semi-Annual Candle Sale is going on right now (select candles are going for $10 which is way cheaper than usual!!). I picked up four different candles this week - starting with this Fresh Mint & Coconut one that I keep in my kitchen. It caught my eye in the store because of the blue and white pattern (like china!), but then I smelled it and WOW - the scent combination sounds a little odd, but it is TO-DIE-FOR. :) My other favorites are French Lavender, Rose Water & Ivy, and Fresh Cut Lilacs.
