The big day has arrived... the Nordstrom Anniversary Early Access Sale for cardholders has begun and y'all - it is GOOOOOD! I had the chance to shop the #NSale yesterday, and the sale associates told me that this year, prices are marked down even more than usual. We are talking deep discounts of 50% off on some items. You won't find fall deals like this anywhere else for the rest of the year!
Yesterday I picked up a ton of basic pieces that you can mix and max to create dozens of outfits. I went for blanket scarves, staple jeans, cozy cardigans, lace-up heels and lots of olive green and burgundy hues. I'm sharing all of the details on the fit and quality right here in today's blog post. Let's get started!

Sizing: True to size, wearing XS. This dress is very high-quality and made of nice, thick material. It has a high neck that is perfect for wearing wth a necklace (especially a monogram!). This dress also comes in multiple colors.

Sizing: True to size, wearing my normal size 7. I looked at a lot of the booties yesterday and these were by far the cutest! They are slimming to your legs and the neutral color can be worn with every single color combination.

Sizing: This hat doesn't come in sizes, but I usually wear a small to medium size hat and this one is a perfect fit. It is more structured that the floppy hats of previous years, which I really like - my other floppy hats become too floppy after a lot of wear, and this one feels like it will hold its shape.

Sizing: Wearing XS, could have sized down to the XXS because the sleeves are a little bit long. This cargo jacket is an AWESOME basic pieces that you can wear all of fall and winter. It makes a great light jacket for the fall, but I would wear over sweaters in the winter to make it warmer.

Sizing: True to size, wearing XS. This is one of my favorite cardigans from the sale, I bought it in THREE colors! (Olive green below and the burgundy color, not pictured). It is extremely cozy and the perfect length, hitting me above the knee. It looks great with blanket scarves.

Sizing: True to size, wearing my normal size 7. Not only are these boots cute (and will match everything), but they are WARM. The inside has shearling underneath your toes that is guaranteed to keep your feet toasty in the fall and winter. I also really appreciate that they are water resistant, since many suede boots are not.

Sizing: This blanket scarf is so so cute in person, and you can't beat $24. Instead of being shaped like a huge square, this one is more rectangular and easier to wear.

To work, on the weekends with a faux fur vest, by itself, with a blanket scarf, etc. I really liked the olive green color but it comes in a ton of different colors.

Terrible lighting, but these Tory Burch riding boots will probably be one of the first items to sell out. The almond color is gorgeous in person and the gold logo is pretty big (which I like). I already own two pairs of TB riding boots, otherwise I would have bought these!

These leopard lace-up flats were sooo cute but they were already sold out in my size in the store!! I am ordering them online today. I ended up buying them in this burgundy color which I really love. Don't listen to the website, these don't run small - 7 is my normal size and they were a perfect fit for me.

And finally (sorry for the terrible lighting), these AG jeans are SO cute in person - I was so excited about these because AG is my favorite brand! I am ordering them online this morning and think these will sell out really quickly. If you haven't worn AG before, they fit true-to-size - one of the things I love about their jeans is they NEVER STRETCH OUT. They are also usually very expensive so the sale price is phenomenal. I highly recommend these.
