Let me preface this post by saying that my office is NOT finished yet! I have made a lot of progress since I first started (seriously... this was my "junk room" when I moved in), however there's a lot that still needs to be done before I can consider it complete. But, I am so happy with the progress made, especially thanks to the furniture and decor I've found at Horchow! I was ecstatic to find this lucite and gold bench - it fits perfectly along the wall in my office. I love that the fabric is a neutral color because no matter where I move in the future, I know it will match everything! I added some leopard pillows and a gold and white mirror to mix up the patterns a little bit on that side of the room. I'm thinking hot pink pillows would also be chic!

As for my desk area, I love how clean, white and bright everything is. I spend long hours at my desk working on blog posts, answering emails and so on, so I love that it's in front of the window and looks out on the city - it's so cheery! These quatrefoil gold and white lamps from Horchow are perhaps my favorite items in the whole room - they lend a really elegant look to my entire desk, and the gold is not too overpowering, but just the perfect touch.

If the rest of the room looks pretty empty, it's because I'm still waiting on these white and gold bookshelves to arrive. I put them on snapchat a while ago and had TONS of questions about them! The bottom drawers are for file folders - I have nowhere to keep my files right now! I love that the shelves offer a lot of storage and they'll help me stay more organized, which is really important. I also have a patterned rug that is still on its way to my house!
