As you are reading this, I'm either in a taxi on my way to the airport, at the airport, on a plane or sleeping in my bed. My goal is to make it into my bed this afternoon and sleep until tomorrow morning! I spent the weekend in NYC (specifically, Chelsea) with my friend Krista and we had a blast… I had never been to NYC in the summertime (always the fall or winter) so it was a lot different to see the city in warm weather. Everything is much more laid-back, the sun is shining and people just seem to be in a great mood.
I wore this outfit on Saturday… we had brunch, went shopping around SoHo and even made a YouTube video (coming soon!). You can't really see the detailing on these embellished shorts in the photos but it's beautiful! There are small jewels and beads sewn onto the shorts. I also used my Tory Burch Robinson bag for the first time this weekend! I picked it out for my birthday because I thought it would be the perfect bag for fall… I can't waiiiiiit to wear it with riding boots when the weather turns a little cooler.
We did not get much sleep this weekend… I think we averaged about three hours per night… so I am going to bed probably as soon as I get home this afternoon. I can't think well when I'm sleep deprived and I'm sure this whole day is going to be a struggle! Anyways, don't forget about the Nordstrom sale going on. I blogged about my picks here :)
