Standing next to the ocean always puts life into perspective for me - it reminds me that I am small and the world is big. The possibilities of life seem endless… it makes me want to dream bigger and live better. And with every wave that crashes along the shore, it's as if the sea is saying everything will be okay. (Every year since I was born, my family has taken a trip to the North Carolina coast for one week out of the summer - It's this vacation that I look forward to more than anything else, no matter how old I get!)
Anyway, enough sappy talk about my love for the ocean. Y'all know I have a "thing" for white dresses and this midi dress is no exception. From the intricate details on the bodice to the delicate lace hem, I seriously don't know if there's a prettier white dress out there. I also want to point out that I usually find midi dresses unflattering since I'm on the shorter side (I'm 5'3) but somehow this one just works. I also just added this white midi dress to my closet and I love it as well!
