It's an age-old dilemma that women often ask… how do you make your legs appear longer? There are a couple of answers to this question (in my opinion!). The first is to wear monochromatic colors so that your shoe color and pant color match. This works because it creates a clean line and your eye travels from the top of your leg straight down to the floor without stopping. The second trick is to wear black… the color black naturally makes you look thinner, and when your legs look thinner they appear to be longer, too. My third tip? Wear heels or any shoes that add inches on to your height. Ta-da… longer legs. If you're looking for the triple whammy… then you need these Ash booties I'm wearing in today's post. Not only are they black and they blend in with the black pants, but they are really tall too (4 inches) and I am super obsessed with them!
Funny story about my poncho… yesterday my boyfriend referred to it as a scarf and said, "Your scarf kinda looks like a blanket!" I started dying laughing and told him that I wasn't wearing a scarf… but yes, he was right, my poncho did look like a blanket. Men say the darndest things!
